Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder. Don't you know the hardest part is over. Let it in, let your clarity define you. In the end we will only just remember how it feels. Let it slide, let your troubles fall behind you. Let it shine, till you feel it all around you. I don't mind if it's me you need to turn to. We'll get by. It's the heart that really matters in the end. Our lives are made in these small hours. These little wonders, these twists and turns of fate. Time falls away but these small hours still remain!!!

Where have I been?

I am obviously the worse blogger ever!! It has been a whole year since my last post and so much has happened I don't even know where to begin. I will give a quick rundown of our last year and then vow to do better from here on out. The biggest thing for us is we bought a house. YAY!! We are absolutely loving our new home. The next goal we have is to get Charlie to sleep in her own room. LOL! Austin is in middle school this year and now that school is just about over he is starting to adjust to the changing of classes and having different teachers. His goal all year was to get to go to the passing party that the school has for all kids who pass with a certain percentage. This term he finally made it and gets to go to the party on Monday. Charlie is in Head Start this year and is sure she is to old to be there. Everyday she asks if today is the day she gets to go to kindergarten. She is even willing to get the shots that she needs, so she must want to go really bad. Eric is working for Denison Mines and loves it. He has been there since last January and thinks it is the best job he has ever had. Hopefully Mining is here to stay. I recently got the Fredonia Magistrate Court Clerk job. It is only part time and I love it!! I am home with my kids so much more. That is a quick update on our year. Hopefully within the next week I will have time to post more about our year and some pictures.

Winter Bliss....

So I am so behind on my blog I decided rather than do a ten page catch up I would just start with the last month or so and try to do better this year. So here we go.... one sunday we all randomly showed up at Grandma Karens house. The kids all had so much fun playing in the snow. They built grandma a way cute snowman. Had some snowball wars and then we had a great lunch cooked by grandma.

Aunt Miste was a great sport and got dunked in the snow. I also got my turn but I had the camera so luckily there is no proof of that happening.

Matt was not playing fair and was throwing snow with a shovel so....

Grandma Nesha decided to help the kids gang up and try to take him down!!! It didn't work they weren't able to dunk him in the snow but they were able to take the shovel away from him. We had so much fun and always enjoy our days spent with the family at grandma and granpa's.

What we have been up to lately!

We took the kids to the Washington County Fair, the kids had a blast at the carnival! Austin wasn't much up for rides but once we made him go on one of the good ones he was hooked! We had to bribe him to stop so he wouldn't throw up. Charlie on the other hand was bored with the Ferris wheel and had to do all the big rides with the boys. I know she was scared but she wouldn't admit it. The look on her face was priceless. Unfortunately I lost my card that all the pictures where on. Hopefully it will turn up soon. After the rides we went to watch the demolition derby. It was good but all my kids could talk about was the astro van making the jump! We hope to go back next year but hopefully Uncle Kris will be driving a car so we have somebody we know to cheer for.

This last weekend was western legends. I helped Thempi Jo tend Danielle's kids. We took them to the High Noon parade. I'm not sure how the kids liked it. Karter just kept telling me it was hot. I let them buy tickets for the bounce houses and all of a sudden it wasn't so hot anymore. After we walked through the booths we decided to take all the kids and go swimming at the zion ponderosa resort. I made Aunt Thempi help with this one. The kids all had fun. Maddie learned that she could go down the big slide without her floaties. She was so proud of herself. Charlie swam under water more than halve of the length of the pool. Her butt was in the air most of the time so I think she would of made it farther but it seemed to be slowing her down. She is such a fish and has no fear of the water so you really have to watch her close. As you can tell from the pictures Karter did not have a good time. He was convinced he couldn't do anything without his floaties. Uncle Eric tried his hardest to let him hold him and take him to the deep end and he wasn't haven't it. Finally before we left we Eric took him down the slide kicking and screaming. When he got back out of the water he had a big smile on his face. Then we went back to nana and papa's house and had a great dinner. My kids were so tired they were asleep before we got out of the driveway.

Austin is playing 5th and 6th grade football this year in kanab. I am not sure when his first game will be but stay tuned for pictures and updates on the season!!

Here we are!!

So my sister has been telling me I needed a Blog for months... and finally I got bored enough at work to start one.. so here we go!!! I work at Kane County Hospital in the acute care dept, Eric is working at Paramount Petroleum. We are living in Fredonia Az, I know, crazy right? Who would of thought that I would end up living in Fredonia. We are getting ready to start building a house there. Eric promises me that as soon as his work slow's down it will get built very fast. We will see. Austin is almost 11 and is going into the Fifth grade. He is so excited for school this year. His teacher is actually going to be one of my favorite teachers from Valley. He enjoys playing all sports and loves to go shoot rabbits. Charlie is 3 and 1/2. Need I say more. She thinks she is the boss of the household. Her energy makes me tired just watching her. I have enrolled her in preschool this year which I am sure she will just love. Her Grandpa George says all the teachers will earn their pay with her or else they will have all quit within two weeks! We will be going to the Washington County fair so stay tuned for all the details of the fun we had!
